Choosing the notebooks for this projects was tricky; I wanted them to be cute but sturdy, big enough to contain a good amount of reviews, lined to be easier to write on, but not too bulky. I also wanted to be able to purchase a similar one in case the notebook was completely filled in, so they had to be easy to find again.
At first, I bought a small binder notebook, but as soon as they got delivered I realised that had been a mistake.
A binder means easiness to remove or add sheets, and that was my focus when I chose one for this, but then I realised the holes of the sheets in most binders are thin, and easy to tear. On top of that, the notebook I ordered was, due to its design, too narrow to comfortably write on one of the sides, which meant extra instructions for readers.
It was with pain in my heart that I had to say goodbye to the binders (I offered one to a friend and used another for my book club), and went in search of a replacement.
After a bit of search, I found it! A notebook that was small and sturdy, cute but handy to write on.
I bought it in three colours: black (for Sea Of Tranquillity), brown (for Braiding Sweetgrass, and green (for the YA box whose book is yet to be announced).
I truly love these notebook and their ridged covers. They are easy to write on, very bendable, without being fragile.
They are meant to become a place where people can leave their reviews, but also to become a sort of scrapbooks of sorts, so readers can add drawings, stickers, photos, receipts, whatever they see fit and that makes sense with this reading journey.

I hope you like them.
